This guide offers hints and strategies for earning money quickly in The Sims Freeplay. Your Sims can earn money by having a job, gardening, and baking. Below are tips and tricks for each of these activities.
Jobs
- Build the stadium. The Athlete job is the highest paying job at its top level, for the least amount of work.
- Build Promotions R Us. Buy the soccer ball and have Athlete Sims play with it to get promoted faster to the highest salary.
- Send your Sims to work before you go to sleep. When you wake up, they'll be all done and you'll have money to spend.
Gardening
Baking
- Baking is less profitable than gardening, but earns more XP.
- More expensive stoves do not decrease baking time.
- Strangely enough, baking does not count toward the cooking hobby.
Other ways to earn money
- Inspired Sims earn more money and XP. To inspire your Sims, make sure their needs are satisfied.
- Sims earn more money and XP when they're at their own house.
- The more buildings your town has, the more money and XP you can collect on the town map.
- You can watch ads to earn money, XP, LP, and SP. Tap your active tasks on the bottom left, and check the upper left hand corner to see if one is available.
- Pets will occasionally dig up money, XP, and LP. (If you wait until Level 12, a lost puppy will appear in the park to prompt you to begin the "A Puppy Odyssey" Quest.)
- The fishing hobby will occasionally cause an event where a fish eats your Sim! Tap the screen to save them - and you might get some extra money, XP, or LP.
- If you build the car dealership, you can buy cars for your Sims. When you go for a drive, music symbols will appear above the car. Tap on these for extra money, XP, and LP.
- If you build the Competition Center, you can have Sims compete to win money, XP, and LP. Master hobbies to gain the most from these day-long events!
